Overview
A fresh start in life is like a breath of fresh air — and that’s exactly what our Fresh Start Initiative provides. This is Flip These Bricks Academy’s Second Chance Program, built specifically for:
- Men and women who have been incarcerated and are ready to reenter society
- Individuals who want to make a total career change and find new purpose
No matter your past, we believe your future can be built stronger. We don’t just train people — we transform mindsets, rebuild confidence, and help each individual take back control of their life.
reentry for formerly incarcerated individuals
Our flagship Fresh Start track is for individuals reentering society after incarceration. These are men and women who have been detached from society, labeled by their past, and often left behind.
We create a supportive, real-world pathway back into society through our structured two-part system:
🔁 Part 1: 6-Month Shock Program (Pre-Release)
- Intensive pre-release mentorship inside correctional facilities
- Partnerships with state departments, prison boards, and licensed mental health specialists
- Individual interviews and evaluations to identify needs, trauma, and goals
- Enrollment in therapy and mindset development programs
- Early exposure to real-world expectations and construction fundamentals
This phase prepares individuals mentally and emotionally to enter a fast-paced, opportunity-rich environment with confidence and clarity.
🛠️ Part 2: Flip These Bricks Academy Training (Post-Release)
Once released, participants transition into the core training of Flip These Bricks Academy:
- Hands-on construction training
- Business and real estate development education
- Learning how to launch a company in general contracting or property investment
- Mentorship and job placement through our industry partners
We help our students become business owners, investors, and contributors to the very society they once felt locked out of.

The Other Side of Second Chance:
Career Changers
Not everyone in our program comes from incarceration. Some simply need a new beginning.
If you’re stuck in a dead-end job, tired of trading hours for wages, or ready to make a life-altering pivot — the Fresh Start Initiative welcomes you too.
